Northside-Warner Robins Head Coach Resigns After 41-Years

Conrad Nix is stepping down after 41-years as a head football in Georgia and Alabama.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that the Northside-Warner Robins head man resigned Tuesday. Nix ended his career with a record of 300-105, which included 40 wins at the beginning of his career when he coached in Alabama.

Model Hires New Head Football Coach

After two years away from the the Georgia High School Football scene, Lynn Hunnicutt is back.

Model High School has hired the former Pepperell and Fitzgerald head coach to be its new head football coach. The Rome News-Tribune reports that Hunnicutt takes over the program that finished 1-9 last season. Hunnicutt is 14-wins shy of 200-wins in his career.
