When the 2007 Georgia High School football season kicks off later this week, all eyes will be on Roswell and Northside-Warner Robins. Both teams bring back a lot of starters from their 2006 state championship teams.
With 15 starters back, Roswell was tapped as the #1 team in the Atlanta Journal Constitutional's Pre-Season High School Football Rankings. Roswell head coach Tim McFarlin potentially has eight Division I recruits on his roster.
Northside brings back 12 starters from last year's 15-0 squad that won the 2006 Class AAAA championship. The Eagles are ranked #1 in the AJC's Class AAAA Pre-Season Poll.
